An English policeman who was and blinded by a gunman has been dead at his house in the north of England. The of David Rathband, 44, was by police officers at his home. They went to his house because no one had seen him for a days. Mr Rathband was shot in the face at range while sitting in his police car in July 2010. He his sight in both his eyes and suffered facial injuries. The man who shot him died days later in a 6- shootout with police.
